Players face the terrifying Huggy Wuggy in Chapter 1 of Poppy Playtime, but they won’t get far without two extendable arms of their own.

In Chapter 1 of indie horror Poppy Playtime
In Chapter 1 of indie horror Poppy Playtime, players must enter the abandoned Playtime Co. toy factory and survive the terrifying toys within. After the factory shut down ten years ago when the entire staff went missing inside, it’s up to the player, an ex-employee, to return and discover what went wrong.
Poppy Playtime features puzzles and intriguing game mechanics
Poppy Playtime features puzzles and intriguing game mechanics in addition to horror as players restart the factory’s many machines to make their way through. Most of these puzzles require use of the GrabPack, a multi-functional backpack with two extendable arms that players acquire at the beginning of the game. Not only can it grab objects at a distance, but it also conducts electricity, allowing the player to rewire machines and complete circuits. The GrabPack can be found in the security room to the left of the front desk, but once the player equips it, they’ll find that it only has the blue hand. While this will allow them to enter the factory, there are several puzzles within that require both hands, as well as several hand scanners that have both red and blue pads. The red hand is located within the factory, and will require the player to solve a puzzle in order to complete their GrabPack.
How To Get The Red GrabPack Hand In Poppy Playtime
Once the player enters the Playtime Co. toy factory in Poppy Playtime, they will be greeted by Huggy Wuggy, who is standing stationary in the middle of the central room. There are several rooms here, but players will note that there are two doors that require a hand-scan to open. The door on the right has scanners for both the blue and red hands, but the door to the left can be opened with the blue hand alone. Attempting to open this door will short out the power, so players will have to enter the Power room to turn it back on by using the key that appears in Huggy Wuggy’s hand. Once the power is back on, the player can return to the center room and open the door, though Huggy Wuggy has now vanished.
